A fresh and crunchy Asian-inspired cabbage salad with a savory sesame dressing.
Ingredients
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrot, and green onions.
- Toast sesame seeds in a dry pan until golden, then add to the bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, and vegetable oil.
- Pour dressing over the salad and toss well.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 2 hours.
