Description
A quick and easy beef stir fry with fresh vegetables, perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup water or beef broth
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
- Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds.
- Add beef and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add vegetables and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch with water. Pour into pan.
- Stir until sauce thickens, about 2 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for quick cooking.
- Use any vegetables you prefer.
- Adjust sauce to taste with more soy sauce or a pinch of sugar.
