Description
A delicious and easy-to-make bulgogi beef rice bowl with tender marinated beef served over steamed rice.
Ingredients
- 1 lb thinly sliced beef (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp grated ginger
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and rice vinegar in a bowl.
- Add beef and onions to the marinade. Let sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Cook the beef until browned.
- Add carrots and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve beef over steamed rice.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Slice beef thinly for best results.
- Use fresh garlic and ginger for stronger flavor.
- Serve immediately while hot.
