Ingredients
- 10 cups popped popcorn
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Grease a large bowl and add the popped popcorn.
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, corn syrup, butter, and water. Bring to a boil.
- Cook the mixture until it reaches 250°F (hard ball stage).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
- Pour the caramel over the popcorn and mix until coated.
- Let cool slightly, then shape into balls with greased hands.
- Allow to set completely before serving.
