A rich and savory dip made with caramelized onions, perfect for parties or snacks.
Ingredients
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Heat butter and olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add onions, sugar, salt, and pepper. Cook until caramelized, about 25 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Fold in caramelized onions.
- Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
