Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
- Layer half the potato slices in the dish.
- Sprinkle half the cheese over the potatoes.
- Repeat layers with remaining potatoes and cheese.
- Mix sour cream, milk, melted butter, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder in a bowl.
- Pour mixture evenly over the potatoes.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
