Description
Baked chicken drumsticks seasoned with smoked paprika, garlic, and cayenne, roasted until crispy and juicy—perfect for weeknights or Sunday dinners.
Ingredients
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1.75 lbs. chicken drumsticks (6 pieces)
2 Tbsp cooking oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil.
2. Pat drumsticks dry and place in a bowl.
3. Drizzle oil over drumsticks and toss to coat.
4. Mix all spices and sprinkle over chicken; toss again until coated.
5. Arrange on baking sheet, leaving space between pieces.
6. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through.
7. Use meat thermometer to ensure 175°F internal temperature.
8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate chicken overnight using olive oil, vinegar, garlic, and paprika.
To cook from frozen, bake at 400°F for 50–60 minutes and season halfway through.
