A simple and delicious holiday treat combining rich chocolate and refreshing peppermint.
Ingredients
- 12 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 12 oz white chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes or peppermint candies
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Melt dark chocolate in a double boiler, then spread evenly on the baking sheet.
- Refrigerate for 15 minutes until set.
- Melt white chocolate, stir in peppermint extract, then spread over the dark chocolate layer.
- Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top.
- Chill for 30 minutes, then break into pieces.
