  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. Add softened butter, egg, and buttermilk. Stir until just combined.

  5. In another bowl, combine brown sugar, cold butter, and oats to make the crumb topping.
