Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup shredded apples
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in shredded apples.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan, sprinkle cinnamon sugar, then add remaining batter.
