Ingredients
- 6 cups peeled and sliced apples
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Toss apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
- Spread apple mixture in a greased 9-inch baking dish.
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt in another bowl.
- Cut in butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until topping is golden and apples are tender.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

- The crisp can be stored covered at room temperature for up to 2 days.
