Description

A refreshing and tangy classic margarita made with tequila, lime juice, and triple sec.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 oz triple sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup (optional)
  • Salt for rimming the glass (optional)
  • Lime wedge for garnish


Instructions

  1. Rim a glass with salt by rubbing a lime wedge around the edge and dipping it in salt.
  2. Fill a shaker with ice.
  3. Add tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using).
  4. Shake well until chilled.
  5. Strain into the prepared glass over ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge.
