Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 hot dogs, chopped into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin.
- Mix cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk milk, egg, and melted butter in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir in chopped hot dogs.
- Spoon batter into muffin tin, filling each cup 3/4 full.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
