Description
Delicious cornbread waffle bites served with a sweet honey butter syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- For syrup: 1/4 cup honey, 2 tbsp butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until combined.
- Pour batter into waffle iron and cook until golden.
- Cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Mix honey and melted butter for syrup.
- Serve waffle bites with syrup.

- Use a mini waffle iron for smaller bites.
- Adjust honey to taste.
