Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tbsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. In another bowl, beat egg. Stir in orange juice, zest, and melted butter.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in cranberries.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50-60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in pan 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
