Description
A comforting and creamy chicken noodle soup perfect for chilly days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup celery, diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
Instructions
- In a large pot, sauté onion, celery, carrots, and garlic until softened.
- Add chicken broth, water, and bring to a boil.
- Stir in egg noodles and cook until tender.
- Add shredded chicken, heavy cream, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until heated through.
- Serve hot.
