Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until softened.
  3. Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
  4. Add kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and beef broth.
  5. Season with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Stir well to combine.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Serve hot with your favorite toppings.

  • For a spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper.
