Description

A hearty and flavorful crockpot pot roast with tender carrots and potatoes, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 3 lbs beef chuck roast
  • 1 lb carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1.5 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. Place the roast in the crockpot.
  3. Add carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic around the roast.
  4. Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients.
  5. Sprinkle thyme and rosemary on top.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 5 hours.
  7. Shred the roast slightly before serving.
