Dubai Chocolate Recipe

  • Author: Carry
  • Total Time: 1–2 hours
  • Yield: 15 1x

Description

Dubai chocolate is the ultimate indulgence, blending rich cocoa with luxurious flavors inspired by the Middle East. Think dates, pistachios, saffron, and a touch of rose—every bite is pure decadence.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chocolate Base:

  • 1 cup high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter

For the Signature Flavors:

  • 3 tbsp finely chopped dates
  • 2 tbsp chopped pistachios
  • 1 tsp rosewater
  • 1 pinch saffron threads (optional, for a luxurious touch)
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

For Garnish:

  • Crushed pistachios or edible gold leaf (optional)

Instructions

  • Melt the Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, combine the chopped dark chocolate, heavy cream, and butter. Melt over a double boiler or microwave in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
  • Infuse with Flavors: Stir in the rosewater, chopped dates, pistachios, and saffron (if using). Mix until the flavors are evenly distributed.
  • Mold the Chocolate: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or spread it into a parchment-lined tray. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Add the Final Touch: Sprinkle the top with crushed pistachios or sesame seeds for extra flair. Chill in the fridge for 1–2 hours until set.
  • Cut or Pop Out: If using a tray, cut the chocolate into squares or bars. If using molds, pop the chocolates out gently.
  • Serve or Store: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
  • Prep Time: 15 mins
