Dubai Chocolate Strawberries blend pistachio cream, silky chocolate, and crisp kataifi for a stunning dessert rooted in Middle Eastern inspiration.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 ounces kataifi shredded dough, chopped
1 cup pistachio butter or pistachio cream
2 tablespoons tahini (optional)
1 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon coconut oil
1½ pounds strawberries, halved
Ground pistachios
Instructions
1. Toast kataifi in butter over medium heat until golden and crisp.
2. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil in a heatproof bowl.
3. Stir in pistachio butter and tahini until smooth.
4. Dip strawberries halfway into the chocolate mixture.
5. Roll chocolate-covered base in toasted kataifi or sprinkle with pistachios.
6. Set on parchment to cool and harden.
7. Serve immediately or chill for up to 2 days.
Notes
Let strawberries sit at room temp 10 minutes before serving.
You can substitute pistachio cream with almond butter.
