Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For gooey bars, slightly underbake.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- You can add nuts for extra crunch.
