Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) creamed corn
  • 1 box (8.5 oz) cornbread mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in both cans of corn, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread mixture in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  5. In a bowl, mix cornbread mix, milk, and egg until combined.
  6. Pour cornbread batter over the beef mixture.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and set.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
