A simple and quick vegan version of traditional Irish soda bread, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 3/4 cups plant-based milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Combine plant-based milk and apple cider vinegar, let sit for 5 minutes.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, stir until just combined.
- Shape dough into a round loaf, place on a baking sheet.
- Cut a cross on top of the loaf.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
