  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup hot water


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, and cloves in a bowl.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and molasses.
