A creamy and refreshing homemade version of Starbucks’ famous peppermint mocha.
Ingredients
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- Whipped cream for topping
- Chocolate shavings for garnish
Instructions
- Brew a cup of strong coffee.
- In a small saucepan, heat milk over medium heat.
- Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar until dissolved.
- Stir in peppermint extract.
- Pour the coffee into a mug and add the peppermint cocoa mixture.
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

- Adjust sugar to your taste.
- Use almond or oat milk for a dairy-free version.
- For extra richness, add a splash of heavy cream.
