Description

This Kahlua Cheesecake is rich, creamy, and infused with the deep flavors of coffee liqueur. A luscious chocolate crust, silky cheesecake filling, and a hint of Kahlua make it the ultimate dessert indulgence!


Ingredients

Crust

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs (finely crushed)
  • 5 tbsp butter (melted)

Filling

  • 24 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup Kahlua (coffee liqueur)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream (for creaminess)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease a springform pan.
  2. Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
  5. Mix in Kahlua, vanilla, and sour cream until well combined.
  6. Pour filling over the cooled crust. Bake for 50-60 minutes until the center is just set.
  7. Let cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For extra decadence, top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings before serving!
