Description
A hearty and flavorful lasagna soup made in one pot for easy cooking and cleanup.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 24 oz marinara sauce
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Stir in basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Pour in marinara sauce and chicken broth, bring to a boil.
- Add broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender.
- Reduce heat, stir in heavy cream.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese before serving.
Notes
- Use gluten-free noodles if needed.
- Substitute ground turkey for a lighter option.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
