A quick and healthy breakfast option with matcha green tea and oats, prepared the night before for convenience.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp matcha green tea powder
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- Fresh fruit for topping (optional)
Instructions
- In a jar or bowl, mix oats, matcha powder, and chia seeds.
- Add milk, honey, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- In the morning, stir and top with fresh fruit if desired.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Use gluten-free oats if needed.
- For thicker oats, reduce milk slightly.
