A simple and flavorful side dish featuring roasted Brussels sprouts with a savory miso glaze.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil and spread on a baking sheet.
  3. Roast for 20 minutes, stirring halfway.
  4. Whisk miso, honey, vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and pepper in a bowl.
  5. Toss roasted sprouts with the glaze and return to oven for 5 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
