A creamy no bake mocha mud pie dessert layered with chocolate, whipped topping, and almonds—perfect for summer.
Ingredients
¼ cup water
2 teaspoons instant coffee or one single-serve packet
20 Oreos
2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup (28g) powdered sugar
1 8-ounce container Cool Whip, divided
1 3.4-3.9 ounce box instant chocolate or chocolate fudge pudding mix
1 cup nonfat milk
⅓ cup sliced almonds
2 tablespoons hot fudge ice cream topping, warmed
Instructions
1. Mix water and instant coffee. Set aside.
2. Crush Oreos and blend with softened butter. Press into pan and chill.
3. Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in coffee mixture and half of Cool Whip.
4. Spread cream cheese mixture over crust.
5. Prepare pudding mix with cold milk. Spread over cream cheese layer.
6. Top with remaining Cool Whip.
7. Chill 4 hours or overnight.
8. Before serving, top with sliced almonds and drizzle with hot fudge.
Notes
Let the cream cheese fully soften before mixing to avoid lumps.
Garnish with chocolate chips or crushed cookies for extra texture.
