Delicious pecan pie bars with a buttery crust and rich pecan topping.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar to form the crust. Press into a greased 9×9-inch pan.
- Bake crust for 15 minutes.
- Whisk eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla in a bowl.
- Stir in chopped pecans and pour over the baked crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until set.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For a crispier crust, bake an extra 5 minutes.
