Description

Ingredients

  • 1 small red cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1 bay leaf


Instructions

  1. Combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, peppercorns, mustard seeds, and bay leaf in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.
  2. Place sliced cabbage in a large bowl.
  3. Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the cabbage.
  4. Let it cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
