Description
A silky, naturally sweet nut butter made from toasted pistachios perfect for spreading, dipping, or blending into recipes.
Ingredients
2 cups / 250 g shelled pistachios
1 tsp toasted pistachio oil or neutral oil (optional)
Fine sea salt to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Toast pistachios for 5–7 minutes and let cool.
2. Add to food processor and blend until crumbly.
3. Scrape sides, continue blending until smooth.
4. Add oil for texture, blend again.
5. Add sea salt to taste and blend once more.
6. Store in a jar, refrigerate up to 3 weeks.
Notes
Use roasted, unsalted pistachios for best flavor.
Add vanilla or cinnamon for a sweet version.
Delicious in desserts, sauces, or over toast.
