A hearty and flavorful pasta salad packed with protein, featuring chicken, bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes, tossed in a creamy ranch dressing.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cups lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, chicken, bacon, tomatoes, and lettuce.
- Pour ranch dressing over the mixture and toss until evenly coated.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese and green onions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, add chopped celery or cucumber.
- Substitute Greek yogurt for ranch dressing for a lighter version.
