Description
A classic roast lamb dish seasoned with rosemary, perfect for Easter celebrations.
Ingredients
- 1 leg of lamb (about 5 lbs)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix garlic, rosemary, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Rub the mixture evenly over the lamb.
- Place lamb in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast for 1.5 hours, then remove foil and roast for another 30 minutes.
- Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For medium-rare, check internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Letting the lamb rest ensures juiciness.
