Ingredients

  • 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 head garlic
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Cut top off garlic head, drizzle with oil, wrap in foil, roast for 40 minutes.
  3. Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15 minutes.
  4. Drain potatoes, return to pot.
  5. Squeeze roasted garlic into potatoes.
  6. Add milk, butter, salt, and pepper.
  7. Mash until smooth.
