Delicious salted caramel apple cheesecake bars with a buttery crust, creamy filling, and caramel drizzle.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 medium apples, peeled and diced
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press into the pan.
- Bake crust for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla. Pour over crust.
- Toss apples with cinnamon and nutmeg. Sprinkle over filling.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set. Cool completely.
- Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle sea salt. Chill for 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- Use full-fat cream cheese for best texture.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days.
- For extra crunch, add chopped nuts to the crust.
