Description
A quick and delicious shrimp scampi pasta ready in just 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
- Pour in white wine (or broth) and lemon juice. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Toss in cooked pasta and parsley. Mix well.
- Season with salt and pepper. Serve with Parmesan if desired.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for more or less heat.
- Substitute chicken broth if avoiding wine.
