Description
A warm and spiced slow cooker mulled cider perfect for cozy evenings.
Ingredients
- 4 cups apple cider
- 1 orange, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp whole cloves
- 1 tsp allspice berries
- 1 star anise
- 1/4 cup brown sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Pour apple cider into the slow cooker.
- Add orange slices, cinnamon sticks, cloves, allspice, and star anise.
- Stir in brown sugar if using.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours.
- Strain before serving.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- Keep warm in the slow cooker for serving.
- For extra flavor, add a splash of rum or bourbon before serving.
