Description

Smoked Cream Cheese? Oh, you’re in for a treat!  This one’s a total crowd-pleaser that’s as easy as it is irresistible. Let’s add a little smoky magic to your next snack session!

Ingredients

IngredientQuantity
Cream cheese block1 (8 oz)
Olive oil1 tablespoon
BBQ rub or seasoning1-2 teaspoons
Wood chips (apple, cherry, or hickory)As needed for your smoker

Tools You’ll Need:

  • A smoker or grill
  • Aluminum foil or a small baking tray
  • A knife for scoring

Instructions

1. Prep the Cream Cheese: Take your cream cheese block out of the wrapper but leave it cold to handle easily. Pat it dry and place it on a small piece of foil or a smoker-safe dish.

2.Season It Up: Mix the seasoning in a small bowl, then sprinkle generously over all sides of the cream cheese. Pat it lightly so the seasoning sticks.

3.Fire Up the Smoker: Preheat your smoker to 225°F. Use mild wood chips like pecan, apple, or cherry for a subtle, sweet flavor.

4.Smoke That Cheese: Place the cream cheese directly into the smoker. Let it soak up the smoky goodness for 2 hours. Don’t rush—this is where the magic happens!

5.Optional Toppings: After about 90 minutes, drizzle honey or syrup over the top and sprinkle on the nuts for a sweet, crunchy finish.

6.Serve & Devour: Carefully remove the cream cheese from the smoker. Serve it warm with crackers or veggies, and watch it disappear in minutes!
