Description
A classic Thai dessert made with sweet sticky rice, fresh mango, and coconut milk.
Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 ripe mango, sliced
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Rinse the glutinous rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.
- Drain the rice and steam it for 20 minutes until fully cooked.
- Heat coconut milk, sugar, and salt in a saucepan until dissolved.
- Pour half of the coconut mixture over the cooked rice and let it soak for 10 minutes.
- Serve the sticky rice with sliced mango and drizzle the remaining coconut sauce on top.
Notes
- Use ripe mango for the best sweetness.
- Adjust sugar to taste.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
