4piecesboneless, skinless chicken breastspounded to even thickness

2tbspall-purpose flourfor thickening the gravy

Instructions
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper on both sides.
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, sprinkle in the flour and whisk for 1 minute to cook out the raw flavor.
Gradually add chicken broth while whisking, making sure to incorporate the flour smoothly. Add garlic powder and onion powder.
Simmer for about 5 minutes until the gravy thickens. Return the chicken to the pan and coat with gravy.
Serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits. Enjoy!
