Rich and fudgy double chocolate brownies with a crackly top.
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.
- Sift flour, cocoa powder, and salt together. Stir into the batter.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Spread batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- Cool before cutting into squares.

- Do not overbake – brownies will firm as they cool.
