Description

This creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a simple yet delicious dish packed with buttery garlic, parmesan cheese, and a touch of cream. Perfect for a quick dinner or as a side dish!


Ingredients

Pasta Base

  • 12 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp butter (unsalted)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (for extra creaminess)
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese (freshly grated)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream, stirring continuously. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in parmesan cheese, black pepper, and salt. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked pasta and toss to coat. If needed, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach the desired consistency.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately!

Notes

For extra flavor, add cooked chicken or shrimp! You can also sprinkle red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
