A quick and easy breakfast with warm gingerbread flavors. Prep it the night before for a hassle-free morning meal.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (or plant-based milk)
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix oats, milk, maple syrup, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and salt in a jar or bowl.
- Stir well until combined.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours.
- Stir before serving. Add toppings if desired.
Notes
- Use gluten-free oats if needed.
- Adjust sweetness with more or less maple syrup.
- Top with nuts, seeds, or yogurt for extra texture.
