Description

Spicy jerk chicken street tacos with a Caribbean twist, packed with bold flavors and served in soft corn tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1/2 cup diced pineapple
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder (optional)


Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in jerk seasoning and olive oil for 30 minutes.
  2. Grill chicken over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  3. Slice chicken into thin strips.
  4. Warm tortillas on the grill or stovetop for 30 seconds per side.
  5. Assemble tacos: place chicken on tortillas, top with cabbage, pineapple, and cilantro.
  6. Drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle with chili powder if desired.
  7. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add sliced jalapeños.
  • Use flour tortillas if preferred.
