Description

A quick and easy tofu stir fry ready in 20 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add tofu cubes and cook until golden brown.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir for 30 seconds.
  4. Toss in bell pepper and carrot. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Pour soy sauce and sesame oil over the mixture. Stir well.
  6. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve.

Notes

  • Press tofu for 10 minutes before cooking.
  • Adjust spice level by reducing red pepper flakes.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.
